Integrative Child & Teen Psychiatry in Meridian, Idaho

Helping your child feel more like themselves again

Personalized psychiatric care for children and teens struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood concerns, and other neurodivergent needs. We combine evidence-based treatment with a whole-person approach to help your child thrive-not just manage symptoms

care that looks beyond the diagnosis

TreWe know your child is more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. At Divergent Mental Health, we take time to understand the whole picture-their strengths, challenges, environment, relationships, and the things that make them uniquely themselves

Understanding the whole Child

We look beyond symptoms to understand what may be contributing to your child’s struggles. This includes their emotional health, relationships, school experience, sleep, nutrition, development and individual strengths.

Treatment that Fits your child

Treatment is individualized to your child-not simply their diagnosis. When appropriate, care may include medication management, therapy, practical skills and lifestyle support, with thoughtful collaboration between our child, your family and their care team

Could this be the right fit for your child?

Parents often reach out when they know their child is struggling, but aren’t sure what kind of support they need. Your child may benefit from an evaluation if you’re noticing changes in mood, anxiety, attention, school performance, sleep, relationships, or the ability to cope with everyday life.

you may be noticing

  • Difficulty focusing, staying organized, or completing tasks.
  •  Worry, anxiety, or feeling easily overwhelmed
  • Irritability, emotional outbursts or difficulty regulating emotions
  • Changes in mood, motivation, or self-esteem
  • School struggles or declining academic performance
  • Sleep difficulties or changes in routines
  • Social challenges, withdrawal, or relationship difficulties
  • Feeling like your child just isn’t quite themselves lately

What an Evaluation Looks like

Our first visit is about getting to know your child-not just checking boxes or assigning a diagnosis. We’ll talk about what you’re noticing, what your child is experiencing, and the factors that may be affecting how they feel and function.

Together, we’ll develop a thoughtful plan that considers your child’s individual needs, strengths and goals.
